Basic Science
Our goal is to provide resources to trainees/junior faculty who are interested in developing a research component to their career.
The Faculty Development & Mentoring Program is dedicated to supporting pediatric neurosurgeons at every stage of their professional journey. Through mentorship, leadership development, career guidance, networking, and educational opportunities, the program helps members build successful academic and clinical careers while fostering a collaborative community committed to excellence in pediatric neurosurgery.
Whether you are a resident, fellow, early-career faculty member, or established leader, this program provides valuable resources and meaningful connections to help you achieve your professional goals, expand your expertise, and become the next generation of leaders within our specialty.
Build Your Career. Inspire the Next Generation.
For this program, we will be pairing residents, fellows, and junior faculty with more senior pediatric neurosurgeons to provide specific feedback on grant applications and research career mentorship. If you are interested in participating as a mentee, please email the research committee with your academic rank, and attach a brief description of your research project. You will be paired with an appropriate mentor prior to the session with time to send them your aims page or other materials to review.
